Our ethos

Action East Devon is a people focused community health and wellbeing organisation, providing practical help and support to individuals and communities throughout East Devon and beyond.

We run projects and deliver services primarily but not exclusively across the East Devon locality and we work with a wide range of organisations to provide hands on support, advice and guidance to individuals and organisations within our local community.

Our key focus throughout our work is to support and improve the health and wellbeing of people across East Devon and we do this by working with local people to identify gaps in service provision and developing ways to support people to live happier and healthier lives.

5 Ways to Wellbeing

Research suggests that there are five steps we can all take to improve our overall mental health and wellbeing, which are:

  • to connect
  • to be active
  • to take notice
  • to keep learning
  • to give

You can find out more about the five things that can really help to boost our mental wellbeing here.
